The Democratic Party of Korea strongly condemned North Korean Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un's statement on the 31st that unification cannot be achieved.
Spokesperson Kang Sun-woo said at a National Assembly briefing that day, "We strongly condemn Chairman Kim's dangerous idea," adding, "Such remarks by Chairman Kim are a very dangerous notion that defines inter-Korean relations, which are parties to peace and unification, as hostile relations."
