Bithumb Launches 270 Billion KRW 'Dormant Asset Recovery' Campaign
"Efforts to Protect Investors"
Bithumb announced on the 29th that it will launch a 'Dormant Asset Recovery' campaign to find the owners of a total of 267.3 billion KRW worth of dormant assets belonging to its members.
Dormant assets refer to virtual assets held by members who have not accessed Bithumb for at least one year, based on a 10-year period.
According to Bithumb, the most dormant virtual assets are Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Ripple (XRP), in that order. The amount held by a single member who has not checked their assets reaches up to 3.5 billion KRW.
Members can check their dormant assets by accessing the 'Dormant Asset Recovery' link in Bithumb's announcements and verifying their email and phone number.
