Gwangju Roh Moo-hyun Foundation Completes Book Donations to Small Libraries in 5 Districts
The Roh Moo-hyun Foundation Gwangju Regional Committee announced on the 29th that it donated books to a small library in Nam-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City.
The Gwangju Roh Moo-hyun Foundation completed book donations to all five autonomous districts this year, with Nam-gu being the last.
At the donation ceremony held the previous day at the small library in Bongseon 2-dong, Nam-gu, Ha Seong-cheon, Secretary General of the Roh Moo-hyun Foundation Gwangju Regional Committee, regional committee officials, No So-young, Nam-gu council member, Nam-gu officials, members of the Bongseon 2-dong community organizations, and about 30 residents attended. Notably, Kim Ui-gyeom, a first-grade student at Jobong Elementary School who participated in selecting children's books, joined the event, adding special meaning.
Earlier, the Gwangju Roh Moo-hyun Foundation donated books starting on the 20th at the Happy Library in Wolgok-dong, Gwangsan-gu, followed by the small library in Dongcheon-dong, Seo-gu, the Smile Flower small library in Buk-gu, and the small library Forest in Dong-gu.
Following last year, the book donation project continues this year as well, and the list of donated books is directly selected with the participation of local residents and others.
