Gyeonggi Office of Education Announces Successful Candidates for Next Year's Secondary Teacher First Examination
The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education announced the list of successful candidates for the first round of the secondary school teacher appointment exam and the plan for the second round of the exam for next year.
On the 28th, the Office announced the first round passers: 2,427 general candidates for 36 public school subjects, 12 regional candidates, 31 candidates with disabilities, totaling 2,470, as well as 13 candidates for national special schools and 575 candidates for 26 subjects from 46 private school corporations.
The Office will notify candidates of their first round pass status and scores by January 24 next year through the online teacher recruitment system (https://edurecruit.go.kr).
The second round exam will be held on January 17 next year for practical evaluations in physical education, music, and art subjects, followed by a two-day teaching ability assessment and in-depth interview on teaching aptitude on January 23 and 24.

The exam locations will be 14 middle and high schools across four areas: Seongnam, Suwon, Yongin, and Hwaseong-Osan, with the final successful candidates announced on February 8 next year.
