Hyundai Elevator Awards Scholarships to Middle and High School Students
Hyundai Elevator announced on the 27th that it awarded scholarships to 21 middle and high school students in Chungju and Cheonan, where its headquarters and logistics centers are located. Since 2009, the company has operated a social contribution fund with the aim of fulfilling corporate social responsibility and nurturing local talent. Employees have contributed less than 1,000 won from their monthly salaries to accumulate the fund, and the company matched the amount to create the resources. Starting with 6 recipients in the first year, a total of 288 students have received 284 million won over 15 years. This year, the scholarship recipients, their parents, and teachers were invited to the Chungju Smart Campus to tour key facilities including the production line and held a meeting with CEO Jaecheon Jo.
