A man in his 40s who threw an object from a high floor of an apartment building has been referred to the prosecution.
The Jeonbuk Jeonju Wansan Police Station announced on the 26th that they have sent Mr. A, a man in his 40s, to the prosecution on charges of attempted special injury for throwing an iron out of a high floor of an apartment.
Mr. A is accused of throwing an iron from an apartment in Samcheon-dong, Wansan-gu, Jeonju-si, around 7 p.m. on the 12th.
At the time, a citizen was passing through the apartment complex but fortunately avoided the falling iron and was not injured.
During the police investigation, Mr. A stated that there was no intent. He said, "I threw the iron outside without any particular reason," and added, "I did not do it to hurt anyone."

A police official said, "We identified the suspect by checking nearby closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage," and added, "Even though there was no intent, since it could have led to a serious accident, we referred Mr. A to the prosecution."
