Gyeongbuk Provincial Councilor Park Gyutak Honored with the Top Award in the 'Local Autonomy Evaluation Legislative Policy Awards'
Park Gyutak, a member of the Gyeongbuk Provincial Council (People Power Party, proportional representation), received the '2023 Korea Local Autonomy Evaluation-linked Legislative Policy Award' Grand Prize in the Metropolitan Council category, awarded by the Yeouido Policy Research Institute at the National Assembly Members' Office Building in Seoul.
The '2023 Korea Local Autonomy Evaluation-linked Legislative Policy Award' is hosted by the Yeouido Policy Research Institute and evaluated by the Korea Enterprise Technology Value Evaluation Association and the public interest organization Monitoring Korea.
Park Gyutak of the Gyeongbuk Provincial Council has engaged in diverse and extensive legislative activities, serving as a member of the 12th Gyeongbuk Provincial Council's Culture and Environment Committee, Special Budget and Accounts Committee, Council Steering Committee, and Special Committee for New Airport Relocation Support.

Representative Park has proposed five ordinances, including the 'Partial Amendment Ordinance on Support for Local Festivals in Gyeongsangbuk-do,' the 'Ordinance on Support for Handling Trees Damaged by Forest Fires in Gyeongsangbuk-do,' the 'Basic Ordinance on Carbon Neutrality and Green Growth in Response to the Climate Crisis in Gyeongsangbuk-do,' and the 'Ordinance on Promoting the Utilization of Forest By-products in Gyeongsangbuk-do.' These efforts contribute to the transition to a carbon-neutral society and the promotion of green growth, facilitate the use of forest resources, and ease the shift to eco-friendly energy sources, thereby striving for regional economic development.
