The newly completed Smart Shared Logistics Center will be located in Baekseok-dong, Seobuk-gu, Cheonan-si, Chungnam, within the Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) Cheonan Logistics Complex, with a total floor area of 21,189㎡ and five above-ground floors. The total project cost was 48.2 billion KRW (11 billion KRW from the national government, 37.2 billion KRW from LH).
The logistics companies will operate and manage the entire building and site entrusted by LH. The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and LH plan to recruit a consignment operator in January next year. The consignment operator will provide logistics services (transportation, storage, cargo handling, etc.) to small and medium logistics companies at rates lower than market prices and will perform comprehensive management tasks of the logistics center.
