Fire at Changnyeong Daehap-myeon Complex Building... Woman in her 60s Dies

At around 8:37 a.m. on the 22nd, a fire of unknown origin broke out in a complex building in Daehap-myeon, Changnyeong-gun, Gyeongnam, resulting in one fatality.
According to the Gyeongnam Fire Headquarters, the fire on the second floor burned the interior of the house and household items, causing property damage estimated by the fire department at about 19 million KRW.
A woman in her 60s was found dead in the kitchen on the second floor, which was used as a residential space.
Firefighters who responded to a passerby's report extinguished the flames by around 10:12 a.m.

The police and fire authorities plan to conduct a joint investigation with the National Forensic Service to determine the exact cause of the fire.
