The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Arts Management Support Center held the '2023 Arts Enterprise Networking Party' on the 21st at Art Korea Lab in Jongno-gu, Seoul.
A total of 112 arts enterprises selected through this year’s public contest gathered in one place. In addition to networking, there were on-site lectures by startup HR experts and awards for outstanding companies in the final evaluation.
The judges who participated in the final evaluation stated, “We were able to confirm various achievements of the participating companies, such as facilitating artists’ market exposure and enhancing consumer accessibility to the arts market,” and added, “Among them, we selected outstanding companies that had a significant impact on establishing the arts ecosystem.”
The support project for arts startups provided approximately eight months of assistance, including step-by-step commercialization funding for early startups, startup leap, startup specialization (ESG), and global leap stages, as well as customized startup incubation for arts enterprises and external resource linkage. At the event, awards for outstanding companies were presented based on the final evaluation of business achievement, growth potential, and contribution to the arts field during this year’s support period.
