This weekend, a post threatening to blow up the Yongsan Presidential Office was uploaded online, prompting the police to track down the author.
The Yongsan Police Station in Seoul announced on the 22nd that they received a report about a post on the online community 'DC Inside' threatening to blow up the Yongsan Presidential Office and stab President Yoon Seok-yeol and Democratic Party leader Lee Jae-myung with a knife, and have begun a pre-investigation before formal indictment.
According to the police, at around 12:30 AM on the same day, a post titled "On Saturday at 11:59 AM, I plan to blow up the Yongsan Presidential Office and stab Yoon Seok-yeol and Lee Jae-myung with a knife" was uploaded on DC Inside. The post has since been deleted.
