Gyeonggi-do Distributes Promotional Materials Respecting Childcare Staff Rights to Daycare Centers

View original imageGyeonggi Province will distribute promotional materials free of charge to daycare centers in the province to protect the rights of childcare workers and promote a culture of mutual respect within daycare centers.
These promotional materials utilize the winning entries from the "Childcare Worker Rights Respect Slogan Contest" held last February as part of the "Childcare Worker Grievance Handling Desk Operation" project, containing content aimed at raising awareness of respecting the rights of childcare workers.
The Childcare Worker Rights Respect Slogan Contest was open to Gyeonggi residents from January 19 to February 8, receiving 369 submissions, of which 15 were selected as final winners. Selected slogans include "Respected Teachers, Well-Growing Children" and "High Childcare Worker Rights, Hi Our Children's Happiness."
Daycare centers wishing to receive the promotional materials can apply on the Gyeonggi Childcare Support Center website by the 29th of this month.
Lee Jeong-hwa, Director of the Childcare Policy Division of Gyeonggi Province, stated, "We will strive to lead the protection of rights and improvement of human rights for childcare workers in Gyeonggi Province through the Childcare Worker Grievance Handling Desk project," adding, "We hope a healthy and safe working environment will be established in childcare settings."
