Buil ST Donates 100 Bags of Rice
“Warm Hope for Neighbors in Need
During the Cold Winter”
Steel and solar energy company Bu-il ST announced on the 22nd that it donated 100 bags of rice (10kg each) worth approximately 2.6 million KRW to Hamyang County as a contribution to help neighbors in need.
The donated goods will be used for vulnerable groups in the area through the Gyeongnam Community Chest of Korea.
Additionally, Bu-il ST signed a business agreement with Hamyang Anui Nonghyup to maintain and develop a cooperative relationship, which is expected to greatly help local farmers generate non-agricultural income and lead a more prosperous life.
Although 63% of the solar power facilities distributed so far have been installed in rural areas, and rural solar projects have been actively carried out, they were mainly promoted by outside companies or individuals. Farmers themselves often could not participate directly due to lack of information, funding difficulties, and insufficient support systems, sometimes becoming opponents of development.
To address these issues and simultaneously achieve increased farm income and the spread of renewable energy, this business agreement was signed to provide close support throughout the entire process?from project planning, contractor selection, power sales, to power purchase?through collaboration between Hamyang Anui Nonghyup and Bu-il ST.
Bu-il ST stated, “We hope to bring warm hope to neighbors in need during the cold winter,” and added, “We will continue to take the lead in sharing activities and strive to become a company that practices social value.”
