Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education Announces Personnel Changes for 563 General Civil Servants Next Year
Promotion of 84, Transfer of 290, and 39 New Appointments, etc.
The Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education announced on the 20th that it has carried out the regular personnel appointments for general public officials effective January 1, 2024.
This personnel appointment involves a total of 563 people, including 84 promotions (3 at grade 4, 17 at grade 5, 40 at grade 6, 18 at grade 7, and 6 at grade 8), 290 transfers, 150 retirements (including honorable retirements), and 39 new appointments.
Among the grade 4 promotions, three individuals were promoted: Choi Hyun, Head of the School-Age Population Policy Team in the Education Autonomy Division, and Jang Haengun, Head of the Education Community Cooperation Team in the Education Autonomy Division, were appointed and dispatched to the Central Education Training Institute’s Advanced Management Course. Seo Yongsik, Head of Audit Team 1, was promoted and dispatched as the Education Cooperation Officer at Suncheon National University.
Kim Kyunggong, Head of the Administrative Support Division at Yeosu Office of Education, was transferred to the Civil Affairs Team in the General Affairs Division, along with 38 other grade 5 personnel. Additionally, six individuals, including Hyun Kyunghui, Head of the Records Management Team in the General Affairs Division, were appointed as new Heads of Administrative and Financial Support Divisions at education support offices.
Jung Byungju, Head of the School Support Center at Naju Office of Education, and Park Jino, Head of the School Support Center at Muan Office of Education, were recognized for their dedicated service as School Support Center Heads over the past three years and were respectively appointed as Heads of the Administrative Support Division at Yeonggwang Office of Education and Yeosu Office of Education.
