Namhae-gun, 63.1% Progress Rate in Fulfilling Promises of the 8th Elected Administration
"Pursuing Campaign Promises That Residents Can Truly Feel"
Namhae-gun, Gyeongnam Province held the '2023 Second Half Report Meeting on the Promotion of the 8th Term Elected Mayor's Pledge Projects' in the county office conference room.
At the report meeting held on the 19th, reports on the progress and implementation process of the pledges were presented. In addition to sharing the achievements derived so far, in-depth discussions were held to seek supplementary measures for any shortcomings.
Among the 88 pledge projects in Namhae-gun (including 4 multi-department projects), 29 projects were marked as 'Completed (including continued promotion after implementation)', and 54 projects were 'Being normally promoted'. Additionally, 4 projects were 'Partially promoted', and 1 project was 'On hold'.
This represents a 16% increase compared to the 47% implementation rate of pledge projects in the first half of 2023, which is understood to be due to the smooth implementation of pledge projects in the second half such as the support project for senior citizens' hairdressing and bathing expenses and the completion of regional agricultural product joint storage facilities.
Namhae-gun plans to visit related central government ministries, the National Assembly, and Gyeongnam Province to pursue various measures to ensure that major priority projects, such as the development of the area around the undersea tunnel and the completion of the municipal solid waste treatment plant, can be promoted in a timely manner.
