Jin Gyo-hoon, Gangseo District Mayor, Awarded Model Citizen Commendation for Leading Regional Development
Jin Gyo-hoon, Mayor of Gangseo-gu, Seoul, presented certificates of commendation to exemplary residents who have worked hard for regional development and community harmony on the 19th, expressing his gratitude.
At the '2023 Exemplary and Good Deed Residents Commendation Ceremony' held at 2 p.m. in the district office's main conference room, Mayor Jin awarded certificates of commendation to 40 residents and 3 organizations who have led community contributions through volunteer work and sharing.
The district selected and commended 40 residents who devoted themselves to various volunteer activities such as quarantine efforts and providing side dishes and meal support.

Three organizations also received commendations: 'Eco Longlong Cube Seoul,' an environmental education center in Gangseo-gu that provides environmental education to elementary and middle school students; 'Balsan 1-dong Saemaeul Women's Association,' which practiced volunteer activities such as kimchi sharing and nighttime crime patrols; and 'Banghwa 2-dong Autonomous Crime Prevention Unit,' which also served neighbors.
