The Smart Medical Guidance pilot project is a program where on-site 119 paramedics and doctors use smartphone video calls to provide emergency room-level emergency treatment during the transport of cardiac arrest patients, helping to restore the patient's spontaneous circulation.
Since 2015, Chosun University Hospital has participated in the Smart Medical Guidance pilot project, establishing a medical guidance system and contributing to improving the survival rate of emergency patients such as those with cardiac arrest through proactive emergency treatment from the field stage.
Additionally, at this award ceremony, Professor Ryu Chang-yeon of the Emergency Medicine Department at Chosun University Hospital was recognized for his dedicated participation in the Smart Medical Guidance pilot project and his sincere contribution to saving patients' lives on-site, receiving the Director Award of the National Medical Center.

We will continue to seek ways to increase the survival rate of emergency patients and contribute to the advancement of emergency medical care.”
