Donation of Excess Teaching Hours Fees by Professors Since 2001
Professors began pooling a portion of their lecture fees for overtime teaching hours. It has already been 22 years, and the money has been used for their students every year.
Dongmyung University announced on the 19th that the TU Scholarship Association (President Jeong Won-jun, Professor of Visual Design) held a ceremony on the 18th at the university headquarters' Business Building to award a total of 46 million KRW in scholarships to 23 enrolled students.
President Jeong Won-jun expressed gratitude, saying, “We thank the member professors who continuously donate for their students,” and hoped, “Let us continue to engage in broader philanthropic activities in the future.”
The TU Scholarship Association was established in 2001 with the purpose of donating one credit's worth of lecture fees from Dongmyung University professors' overtime teaching hours as scholarships to their students.
