Korea Cable TV Broadcasting Association Appoints Hwang Hee-man as New Chairman
Hwang Hee-man, former MBC Vice President, has been appointed as the 13th President of the Korea Cable TV Broadcasting Association.
The Korea Cable TV Broadcasting Association announced on the 19th that it held a board meeting the previous day and resolved to appoint former MBC Vice President Hwang Hee-man as the new president.

President Hwang will lead the association and the cable industry for a three-year term starting in 2024.

President Hwang graduated from Sogang University with a degree in Economics and joined MBC as a reporter in 1981. He has served as LA correspondent, head of the political department, commentator, anchor of the 8 o'clock news program "Gwangjang," head of the news headquarters, president of Ulsan MBC, president of MBC C&I, and vice president of MBC. In 2011, during his tenure as CEO of MBC C&I, he introduced 'Sonbadak TV,' the world's first mobile-only channel.
