Hankuk University of Foreign Studies Hosts Pianist 'Ivan Bihor' for Special Concert in Korea
The Department of Serbian and Croatian at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies will host a performance by Croatian pianist Ivan Vihor on the 22nd at the International Seminar Room of the HUFS Global Campus.
Ivan Vihor gained worldwide attention in 2017 at the age of 20 when he became the only non-Italian pianist to win the prestigious Italian competition 'Premio delle Arti.' In October of the same year, he also won the 'Papandopulo piano competition' and the 'Ferdo Livadi?' competition held in Samobor, Croatia, establishing himself as the top young pianist in Croatia.
Ivan Vihor made his debut at the age of 10, performing Bach's piano concerto with the Orchestra Sinfonica di Chioggia under the direction of conductor Pietro Perini. He has toured in Croatia, Slovenia, Austria, Italy, France, Germany, Liechtenstein, the Netherlands, and the United States.
