BNK Busan Bank Conducts Financial Education for Children
On the 16th at the National Assembly Busan Library, Education for 30 Elementary Students
Covering Rational Consumer Life, Savings, and Investment Topics
BNK Busan Bank (President Bang Seong-bin) conducted financial education for children on the 16th at the cultural classroom on the 2nd floor of the National Assembly Busan Library.
This financial education targeted 30 elementary school students from grades 4 to 6 and covered topics such as ▲rational consumption habits ▲saving and investing ▲the roles of banks to establish proper economic awareness.
In particular, Busan Bank used its own educational materials featuring characters, quizzes, and comics to engage students' interest, making it easier and more enjoyable to learn about finance.
The financial education sessions are also scheduled to be held on December 23 and December 30.
Park Young-jun, Chief Consumer Protection Officer (CCO) of Busan Bank, said, “This program was prepared to cultivate proper economic awareness among children,” adding, “We will continue to do our best to provide high-quality financial education to strengthen children's financial capabilities in cooperation with local related organizations.”
Busan Bank operates various educational programs including ▲metaverse financial education ▲financial education for vulnerable groups such as seniors and people with disabilities ▲operation of a financial history museum ▲career experience programs in partnership with the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education.
