Lotte Chemical Achieves Grade A for Recycled Material Packaging in Europe
Lotte Chemical's recyclable material has been certified for excellent recyclability by a European institution.
On the 18th, Lotte Chemical announced that packaging made from the 'PET CLEAR' material received the highest grade, 'Class A,' from the European verification organization 'RecyClass.'
PET Clear is a high-value material with the same chemical composition as regular PET, offering excellent recyclability and improved transparency. Based on its superior moldability and eco-friendliness, it can replace transparent materials that are difficult to recycle in cosmetic containers, electronic products, and reusable containers.
Lotte Chemical launched the eco-friendly material PET Clear last year in response to global cosmetic brands and beverage companies' demand for recyclable eco-friendly materials. Global cosmetic companies require third-party certification for recyclable materials, and Lotte Chemical proactively obtained this certification to meet those demands.
