Coupang Offers 'Half-Price Specials' on Year-End Food Items Like Salt, Vinegar, and Milk
Coupang announced on the 18th that it will offer a variety of products, from seasonings like salt and vinegar to convenient meal replacements, at special prices for one day only on the 20th. The event will feature products priced between 3,990 and 8,990 KRW or discounts of up to 50%.
In the Time Deal section, popular food brands such as Cheongjeongwon, Denigris, and Hanra will offer products at ultra-special prices ranging from 3,990 KRW to 8,990 KRW. This includes truffle oil, coarse salt, apple vinegar, and strawberry jam. The special price items will be released in limited quantities at 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. on the 20th.
There will also be a half-price discount corner offering popular mid-sized and small brand foods at up to 50% off. Representative half-price items include Tizen black tea iced tea (10-pack) priced in the 2,000 KRW range, Damteo blended drip bag coffee (6-pack) in the 3,000 KRW range, and Sunsuram Chedam curry (5-pack) in the 5,000 KRW range.
The monthly ‘Food Festival,’ which discounts Coupang’s popular food and grocery items, will run from the 18th to the 24th. About 90 brands will participate, showcasing over 300 cost-effective products. The selection ranges from seasonings like fish sauce and oils to beverages such as milk, bottled water, and juice, as well as snacks, chocolates, and health supplements.
