View original imageGangseo-gu, Seoul (Mayor Jin Gyo-hoon) is recruiting for the '2024 Winter Vacation University Student Administration and Welfare Experience Group' until the 27th of this month.
The district operates the 'Administration and Welfare Experience Group' to provide university students residing in Gangseo-gu with practical experience in administration and welfare during the vacation period, as well as an opportunity to earn tuition fees, and it has been very popular among students every year.
The number of recruits is a total of 50, with 10 for special recruitment and 40 for general recruitment. The special recruitment categories include recipients of the National Basic Livelihood Security, legally low-income families, registered disabled persons under the Disabled Welfare Act, national veterans, single-parent families, and outstanding volunteers.
Eligibility requires that applicants be enrolled or on leave from a university (including junior colleges) registered in Gangseo-gu as of the application start date, the 21st of this month. Graduate students, students with deferred graduation (completion), and those who worked in the previous university student administration and welfare experience group are not eligible to apply.
The application period is from 10 a.m. on the 21st to 6 p.m. on the 27th of this month. Interested applicants can apply through the 'Integrated Reservation' section at the top right of the Gangseo-gu Office website. Results will be posted on the district office website's notice board at 10 a.m. on the 29th and individual notifications will be sent.

The final selected candidates will be responsible for administrative or welfare-related tasks such as civil service guidance, book organization, and on-site work assistance at the district office, community service centers, comprehensive social welfare centers, libraries, etc. They will work five hours a day (9 a.m. to 3 p.m.), five days a week, from January 11 to February 7 next year.
