Seongdong-gu Opens 'Mujigae Children's Snow Sledding Park' for the Whole Family to Enjoy

Seongdong-gu, Seoul (Mayor Jung Won-oh) opened the 'Mujigae Children's Snow Sledding Park' for families to enjoy together for the first time on the 20th and will operate it until February 8th next year.
The children's snow sledding park is located on the site of the Mujigae Garden in Haengdang-dong, which is not operated during the winter season. The sledding park features a small slope 10m wide and 40m long, and a large slope 15m wide and 80m long, allowing children from toddlers to elementary school students of various ages to use it.
The sledding park operates from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a capacity of about 500 people admitted on a first-come, first-served basis. For safety inspections of the slopes and other facilities, it closes daily from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. and is closed every Monday. Admission is free for Seongdong-gu residents, while residents from other districts pay 4,000 KRW. However, some experience programs are operated for a fee.
In addition to the sledding park, various other attractions are prepared. To provide play and experience opportunities in the cold winter city, there are ▲ ice fishing ▲ spinning sleds ▲ amusement park ▲ musical theater. Various convenience facilities such as snack bars, rest areas, and photo zones are also installed.
Seongdong-gu also plans to restore the site to its original state after the sledding park operation ends next year to ensure smooth operation of the Mujigae Garden. The Mujigae Garden has been leased annually to residents since 2012 by Seongdong-gu to provide healthy leisure activities for residents through urban agriculture.
