Taerim Paper Acquires Jeonju Paper and Jeonju One Power for 650 Billion KRW
Global Seara Group announced on the 15th that its affiliate, Taerim Paper, has signed a stock purchase agreement with Morgan Stanley PE. The acquisition is aimed at Jeonju Paper and Jeonju Wonpower, with a deal size of approximately 650 billion KRW.
Jeonju Paper, acquired by Taerim Paper, is the largest domestic newspaper paper manufacturer established in 1965. Since its founding in 1986, it has grown into a company specializing in the production of corrugated base paper and owns Taerim Packaging, a corrugated packaging company, as a subsidiary.
