People Power Party Gwangju Branch Holds Strategy Meeting for Next Year's General Election
Chairman Ju Gi-hwan: "We Will Definitely Elect Ruling Party Lawmakers"
The People Power Party Gwangju Metropolitan City Party Committee (Chairman Ju Gi-hwan) has begun formulating strategies for the general election. Their goal is to ensure the election of ruling party lawmakers in next year’s general election.
On the 15th, the Gwangju City Party Committee held a strategic meeting for victory in the 2024 general election at the Holiday Inn Wedding Hall in Chipyeong-dong, Seo-gu, with key party officials.
Under the slogan "Renew Gwangju with the People Power Party," the workshop was attended by about 200 people, including Chairman Ju Gi-hwan, chairpersons of eight party member councils, city council members, city party operating committee members, key party officials, and party members.
Presided over by Chairman Ju Gi-hwan, the workshop presented the vision for next year’s Gwangju City Party Committee and discussed ▲organizational revitalization plans ▲talent recruitment ▲securing responsible party members ▲discovery of general election pledges and policies ▲regional development plans, while strengthening determination for victory in the April general election next year.
In particular, the workshop resolved to elect at least one ruling party lawmaker in Gwangju for the first time in the People Power Party’s history, aiming to bring a new wave of change to Gwangju.
Chairman Ju Gi-hwan said, “This workshop is a place to share what the Gwangju City Party Committee has pursued, seek victory in next year’s general election, and communicate with party members. As chairman, I feel a strong sense of responsibility and will ensure the election of a district lawmaker in next year’s general election to bring about a major change in the political landscape of Honam.”
