Kwangrae Lee, Standing Auditor of Korea Rural Community Corporation, Visits Haenam... Listens to Difficulties
The Jeonnam Regional Headquarters of Korea Rural Community Corporation (Head: Jo Young-ho) announced on the 14th that Lee Kwang-rae, Standing Auditor, visited the drainage improvement project site in Gocheonam District, Haenam County.
Standing Auditor Lee Kwang-rae said, "I inspected the site upon completion and urged everyone to do their best for safe farming, including preventing farmland flooding damage due to climate change," adding, "I communicated with and encouraged the field staff."
Standing Auditor Lee Kwang-rae, having completed a long-awaited project for the local residents, urged efforts to strengthen various natural disaster response capabilities and create an environment where farming can be done with peace of mind.

The Gocheonam District drainage improvement project electrified one drainage pump station and two drainage gates in the 289-hectare flood damage area around Wonho-ri, Hwangsan-myeon, Haenam County, and completed maintenance of 7.6 km of drainage channels, enhancing drainage capacity.
With the completion of the project, the area, long known by residents as a lowland area prone to frequent flooding damage, has been transformed into a safe farming area where various crops can be cultivated.
Standing Auditor Lee Kwang-rae urged, "Since this is a long-awaited project for the local residents, please continue to strengthen the capacity to respond to various natural disasters caused by climate change and work to create an environment where farming can be done with peace of mind."
Earlier, Lee Kwang-rae visited the Haenam-Wando branch office, received a report on the 2023 branch office goal achievement status and key year-end tasks, and held a communication session to listen to the difficulties faced by field staff.
