Kookmin University - Yeongrim Forestry Sign MOU to Establish Internship and Training Program
Kookmin University announced on the 14th that it has signed a mutual cooperation agreement with Yeongrim Forestry Co., Ltd. to establish educational programs and internship programs for nurturing talent with practical skills.
The agreement ceremony was held at 5 p.m. on the 11th at the Myungwon Museum of Kookmin University. Attendees included Hwang Bok-hyun, Chairman of Yeongrim Forestry, Jeong Seung-ryeol, President of Kookmin University, Kim Hyeong-jin, Vice President of Academic Affairs, Lee Eun-hyung, Director of External Cooperation, Jang Jung-sik, Dean of the College of Design, and Kim Min, Dean of the Graduate School of Techno Design.
Chairman Hwang donated 20 million KRW to the university development fund. At the event, he urged efforts to develop educational programs that cultivate abilities, character, and perseverance to achieve results on site, and that can cover various fields such as design and sales.
Jeong Seung-ryeol, President of Kookmin University, stated, "Through this agreement, it will greatly help to advance Kookmin University's educational capabilities in fields including design, forestry, and management, combine them with field demands, and develop an educational model that fosters practical talents as well as entrepreneurial spirit."
