Gwangju Lotte Department Store Donates Heating Costs to Childcare Facilities
Lotte Department Store Gwangju Branch donated heating expenses to help children at child care facilities located in Dong-gu have a warm winter as the year-end approaches.
This donation was planned with the hope that the children would have a warm winter amid the recent increase in fuel prices and the expected severe cold winter.
The donated funds will be used for heating expenses at seven child care facilities located in Dong-gu, where 7 to 10 children live. In addition, the funds will also be delivered to ‘Haetteuneun Sikdang,’ a charity restaurant located in Daein-dong.
Kim Young-yeol, the support team leader at Lotte Department Store Gwangju Branch, said, “Although it is a cold season, I am glad to carry out meaningful sharing activities to create a community where the temperature of human life becomes warmer.” He added, “Lotte Department Store Gwangju Branch will continue to make efforts for mutual growth activities for the local community.”
