Gochang-gun Successfully Holds General Meeting of Gochang Market Integrated Shopping Mall Tenants Association

The Gochang Market Tenant Association (Chairman Na Chaenam) of the integrated online shopping mall in Gochang-gun, Jeonbuk, held its settlement general meeting and tenant companies' year-end night on the 13th.

According to the county on the 14th, the general meeting was attended by about 80 people including Chairman Na Chaenam and related personnel, where they discussed this year's business settlement and the development direction for 2024.

In 2023, the Gochang Market Tenant Association collaborated with Gochang Market to conduct promotional and sales promotions online during holidays and various anniversaries.

They also promoted various products such as agricultural, marine, and livestock products produced in Gochang-gun and processed goods through flea markets linked with local festivals and tourist attractions.

In September, to provide some support to local farms and companies struggling due to sluggish agricultural food consumption, they signed a win-win agreement with social organizations in Gochang-gun, contributing to the revitalization of the local economy.

County Governor Shim Deokseop said, “Next year, I ask that Gochang Market and the Tenant Association expand online sales channels and flea market operations to further promote and sell agricultural specialties and processed products produced in Gochang both online and offline,” adding, “I hope you will work hard to increase the income of Gochang Market tenant companies and develop Gochang agricultural products.”
