Banpo Mido near Express Bus Terminal Station to be reconstructed into 1,739 units with up to 49 floors
Banpo Mido Apartment in Banpo-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul, near the Express Bus Terminal Station, will be reborn as a newly built apartment with up to 49 floors and 1,739 households.
On the 15th, Seoul City announced that it held a subcommittee meeting of the Urban Planning Committee on the 13th and approved the amendment of the reconstruction maintenance plan establishment, maintenance district designation, and landscape review for Banpo Mido Apartment.
Banpo Mido Apartment is located near Express Bus Terminal Station, where subway lines 3, 7, and 9 pass. It is an old apartment complex with 1,260 households, completed in 1987. Through this review, it will be reconstructed into 13 buildings with up to 49 floors and 1,739 households (including 208 public housing units).
In addition, the northern road of the site (Gomurae-ro, 8m) will be widened by 4m to improve nearby traffic conditions, and a small park will be installed on the northwest side to form a green axis connected with the adjacent Seoripul Park.
Also, along the eastern road (Gomurae-ro 8-gil), neighborhood living facilities and open communal facilities will be arranged, and the roadway will be widened by 1m (from 6m to 7m). The building setback line (3m) will be provided as a sidewalk-type open space to promote smooth vehicle traffic and pedestrian safety within the area.
Furthermore, two public pedestrian passages connected to Seoripul Park adjacent to the existing complex will be installed to improve accessibility for local residents.
