Dongdaemun-gu (Mayor Lee Pil-hyung) held the 'Career Talk Concert Cheong.Sim.Hwan (Brightening the Hearts (心) of Youth!)' on the 11th for first-year students of Kyunghee Middle School.
The 'Career Talk Concert Cheong.Sim.Hwan' (hereafter Talk Concert) is a program designed to allow local middle school students to meet experts from occupational fields that are usually difficult to access, listen to stories from the field, and share their concerns about career paths.
On this day, Kyunghee Middle School invited a 'Performance Planner' to share stories from the field. The Talk Concert held in the Kyunghee Middle School auditorium opened splendidly with a congratulatory performance by Kyunghee University’s dance club 'Balkwang' team.
Kim Yeon-jung, the CEO and speaker who is a performance expert and founder of 'Always Awake,' served as the team leader of the International Association of Theatre for Children and Young People (Korea branch) and was the head of production at the Ultra Music Festival. CEO Kim shared her know-how and experience accumulated over 14 years of planning performances, promotions, overseas tours, and collaborations with foreign art groups, providing students with information about the unfamiliar occupation of 'Performance Planner.'
Lee Pil-hyung, Mayor of Dongdaemun-gu, said, "I hope this Career Talk Concert will be an opportunity for students to deeply contemplate their career paths and find the jobs they desire," adding, "We will continue to support various programs that can enhance the career capabilities of youth."
