Lee Won-wook: "I sympathize with Lee Nak-yeon's words, but his political actions are a different matter"
Former Democratic Party leader Lee Nak-yeon has been delivering strong messages daily about the Lee Jae-myung leadership, even hinting at 'leaving the party,' leading to speculation that he might ally with the non-Lee (Bi-myeong) faction. In response, Democratic Party lawmaker Lee Won-wook, who belongs to the Bi-myeong reformist group 'Principles and Common Sense,' drew a clear line by stating that "political actions are a different matter."
On the 11th, Lee said on YTN's 'News King Park Ji-hoon' program, "I strongly sympathize with the content of what former leader Lee is saying, but I think that is somewhat a different issue from political actions."

While this aligns with former leader Lee's voice, it is interpreted as meaning they will not join his political actions.
When asked by the host whether "there is a possibility that Principles and Common Sense and former leader Lee will go together," he replied, "So, the issue of political actions and the issue of agreeing with the content are different matters," adding, "As I said earlier, we have not yet considered issues like Principles and Common Sense leaving the party; we have not thought that far yet."

Former leader Lee is sharing opinions with former Prime Ministers Jeong Sye-kyun and Kim Boo-kyum, both from the Moon Jae-in administration, leading to rumors of a 'former prime ministers' alliance.' Regarding this, Lee said, "If you listen to former Prime Minister Kim or former Prime Minister Jeong, they share a strong awareness of the problems within the current party, but all three have different thoughts on how to solve this, the issue of political action." He added, "So, if they try to form an alliance of the three former prime ministers, if one of them suddenly acts out, wouldn't it be like, 'What are you doing? We think the same, but you shouldn't do it like that'?"
