Orion Launches 'Market O Cheese Talk Sweet Cheese Flavor'
Stick-shaped potatoes with added Cheddar cheese
"Perfect as a snack with drinks"
Orion announced on the 11th that it will launch a new product in the Market O ‘Tok’ snack series called ‘Cheese Tok Sweet Cheese Flavor’.
Market O Cheese Tok Sweet Cheese Flavor features thin, elongated stick shapes made from potatoes and other ingredients, with cheddar cheese added twice more in the form of sweet cream and salty powder to create a richer taste. Cheese is evenly sprayed over the entire stick to ensure a consistent flavor, while the unique crunchy texture that breaks apart with a “tok-tok” sound is a distinctive feature. In a preliminary survey conducted by Orion with 1,300 consumers, the cheese flavor was selected as the ‘most preferred new product in the Tok series.’
First introduced in 2020, the Market O Tok series successfully established itself in the highly competitive snack market with its crisp “ododok” texture that breaks off bite by bite. The series initially launched three flavors: ‘Potato Tok Herb Salt Flavor’ and ‘Spicy Sweet Flavor,’ which preserve the deep and rich natural flavor of potatoes, and ‘Squid Tok Grilled Squid Flavor,’ which offers the savory taste of grilled squid.
