Located in Gwangju City, Gyeonggi Province, Gonjiam Resort Ski Area is the largest in the Seoul metropolitan area and is affiliated with the LG Group. This year, to celebrate the LG Twins professional baseball team’s first integrated championship in 29 years since 1994, a special opening event has been prepared. From the 8th to the 10th, lift tickets will be offered at a 50% discount for three days.

For the first time in the ski industry this season, Gonjiam Resort has introduced the 'Ski Mobile Quick Pass' and 'Timed Lift Tickets,' which allow everything from booking to entry through a single smartphone application (app). When issuing lift tickets via the Ski Mobile Quick Pass, an additional one-hour usage benefit is also provided.

The slope’s upper section has been adjusted to have a gentler gradient in some areas, enabling beginner and intermediate skiers to ski from the summit down to the base. To alleviate weekend congestion, the Gram Lift, which allows movement from the middle of the slope to the summit, will also be operated additionally during the peak season.

Events for families with children have also been prepared. The snow sledding area’s rails have been expanded to increase the number of users allowed at the same time, and five 'Fun Slopes,' which are loved by many skiers, have been created. In front of the Ski House, an 8-meter-tall giant 'Gonjiam Ski Bear' character resembling a white bear has been installed in the Plaza of Light, allowing families, couples, and friends to capture precious memories in photos.
