YG PLUS, a company specializing in entertainment infrastructure and IP business, announced on the 7th that it will release a capsule collection created in collaboration between BLACKPINK and world-renowned graphic designer Takashi Murakami. The BLACKPINK x Murakami capsule collection will be sold through the NTWRK website and app on the 8th, and pop-up stores will be held from the 9th to the 10th (local time) in the representative beach cities of the US West and East Coasts, LA and Miami.
This capsule collection reinterprets BLACKPINK's iconic style with Murakami's unique imagination and whimsical artistry. For the collaboration with BLACKPINK, Murakami newly created a character named 'Pandakashi.' This character not only represents the meeting of people leading art and music but also symbolizes the fusion of boldness, playfulness, craftsmanship, and charisma.
The capsule collection consists of a total of 16 items, including 3 types of hoodies, 1 long sleeve, 5 T-shirts, and various accessories such as flower cushions. Limited edition art prints designed directly by Murakami and a limited edition game console named 'Flower Go Walk' also attract attention.
