60 Years of 'Trade Day'... Toray Advanced Materials Awarded $800 Million Export Tower
Toray Advanced Materials celebrated the 60th anniversary of Trade Day this year by receiving the 2023 '800 Million Dollar Export Tower' award.
Toray Advanced Materials has been recognized for its export competitiveness in the global market based on advanced technology, differentiated products, and quality innovation across various business sectors including polyester film and IT materials, carbon fiber composites, PPS resin, and aramid.
Jeon Hae-sang, CEO of Toray Advanced Materials, stated, “We are expanding new growth engines through bold investments and active mergers and acquisitions (M&A),” adding, “We will enhance the status of Korea's materials industry by expanding exports, improving quality, and pioneering new markets.”
This year, Toray Advanced Materials is strengthening ESG management by expanding its business into eco-friendly advanced materials fields such as carbon fiber and super engineering plastic facility expansion, water treatment facility operation and management (O&M), and entry into the secondary battery separator business.
