Police Request Arrest Warrant for American Lawyer Accused of Killing Wife
The police have requested an arrest warrant for a former law firm attorney in the United States who killed his wife with a blunt weapon in an apartment.
According to the police on the 5th, the Jongno Police Station in Seoul applied for an arrest warrant for a man in his 50s, Mr. A, on suspicion of murder.
Mr. A is accused of killing his wife, Ms. B, by striking her with a blunt weapon at a residential-commercial complex apartment in Jongno-gu, Seoul, around 7:50 p.m. on the 3rd. It is understood that immediately after the crime, Mr. A himself reported to the fire department that his wife had suffered a head injury. Ms. B received emergency treatment from the responding firefighters and was transported to a nearby hospital but ultimately died.

The police urgently arrested Mr. A at his home around 9:30 p.m. on the same day. The couple had experienced domestic conflicts due to financial issues and personality differences, and it is understood that they argued about related matters on the day of the incident as well.
