Oh Seung-rok, Nowon-gu Mayor, Attends 2023 Calligraphy Association Regular Members Exhibition
On the afternoon of the 4th, Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon District, attended the '2023 Nowon Calligraphy Association Regular Members Exhibition' held on the 4th floor of the Nowon Culture and Arts Center in Seoul.
The Nowon Calligraphy Association provides local residents with opportunities to appreciate traditional calligraphy, fostering pride and a love for culture, and carries on the legacy of authentic calligraphy.
The exhibition displays works by about 70 members of the Nowon Calligraphy Association and continues for 7 days from the 30th of last month until January 6th of next year. Visitors can experience works that express the words and teachings of sages, poems celebrating nature in calligraphy, as well as literati paintings featuring bamboo, chrysanthemums, and plum blossoms.
