Choi Hogwon, Yeongdeungpo-gu Mayor, Encourages at the 1st Seoul Sports Council President's Park Golf Tournament
Choi Ho-gwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, attended the '1st Seoul Metropolitan Sports Council President's Cup Park Golf Tournament' held on the morning of the 4th at Yangpyeong Nuri Sports Park Park Golf Course to encourage the players.
Park golf is similar to regular golf in terms of gameplay but uses only one wooden club. It is less demanding in terms of long drives and can be enjoyed with low cost and time, making it a popular sport among seniors along with gateball.
This inaugural tournament, organized by the Seoul Metropolitan Park Golf Association, was held in Yeongdeungpo District, the mecca of park golf. About 670 people, including participating players, referees, and staff, attended.
