Ahn Hyeong-ju, Gwangju Seo-gu Council Member, Proposes 'Support Ordinance for Social Settlement of Probationers'
Ahn Hyeong-ju, a member of the Gwangju Metropolitan City Seo-gu Council, announced on the 4th that the 'Ordinance on Support for Social Settlement of Probationers and Others' was passed at the plenary session.
The ordinance was proposed to prevent the recurrence of crimes and establish a safety net through support for the social settlement of probationers and others.
In the future, it is expected that vocational training, job placement, counseling and psychological treatment support, and education to improve social awareness for probationers will be promoted.
Councilor Ahn said, "I hope that smooth social settlement support for probationers and community service subjects will contribute to crime prevention and the welfare enhancement of residents."
