"Visiting Public Institutions and Local Companies One After Another"... Dong-Eui University Corporate Exploration Program
The Dong-Eui University University Job Plus Center conducted a company exploration program for the second semester of the 2023 academic year in connection with the Ministry of Employment and Labor's work experience projects.
As a hub center in the Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam (Bu-Ul-Gyeong) region, the Dong-Eui University University Job Plus Center has been running a company exploration program since the first semester for local youth and enrolled students to resolve regional job mismatches and increase employment rates.

View original imageFor the second semester schedule, visits were made in September to SBXG, an e-sports related company; on October 11 to Jeil Electric Industrial, a KOSDAQ-listed company; on October 12 to Daesun Joojo; and on October 18 to Busan Environmental Corporation, Nexen Tire, Busan Port Authority, and Korea Exchange, where introductions to companies and job roles as well as special lectures on employment know-how were held.
In addition to company explorations, the Dong-Eui University University Job Plus Center also held recruitment briefings for local youth with various companies such as Hyundai ENT, Grand Hyatt, Hana Securities, POSCO, and public institutions under Busan City and regional relocated public institutions.

Lee Cheol-gyun, director of the Dong-Eui University University Job Plus Center, said, “Many students tend to overlook small and medium-sized enterprises with excellent growth potential and work environments simply because of the company size,” adding, “We will do our best to expand on-site collaboration programs such as recruitment briefings and company explorations to increase students’ employment opportunities and nurture field-oriented, company-tailored talent.”
