Hwayo Hosts Guest Bartending Event 'Hwayo City Night'
Four Types of Tuesday Cocktails to Be Presented at Mondrian Hotel on the 4th of Next Month
Premium distilled spirit Hwayo announced on the 30th that it will hold a guest bartending event, ‘HWAYO City Night,’ at the ‘Privilege Bar’ of the Mondrian Hotel on the 4th of next month.
This event marks Hwayo’s first global guest bartending event targeting general customers in Korea, in collaboration with ‘Bar Ssal,’ operated by Sago House, which has been selected as one of Asia’s Top 50 Best Bars for three consecutive years.
Ronan Kielty, head bartender of Bar Ssal, and bartender Bae Minji, who are participating in this guest bartending event, will present four Hwayo cocktails interpreted in their own styles (Pear, Sweet Potato, Perilla Leaf, Hallabong). The cocktails ‘Pear,’ ‘Sweet Potato,’ and ‘Perilla Leaf’ are popular menu items already recognized by local customers in Singapore, where Bar Ssal operates. For this event, these cocktails will be specially made using Hwayo41 as the base to introduce them to domestic customers. The ‘Hallabong’ cocktail is a newly developed Hwayo cocktail for this event, characterized by the harmonious blend of the seasonal fruit Hallabong’s refreshing flavor and the richness of rice.
