View original imageA heavy snow warning has been issued for the central and northern mountainous areas of Gangwon-do and Pyeongchang-gun.
The Korea Meteorological Administration announced at 5:10 PM on the 29th that a heavy snow warning would be in effect for the plains of Pyeongchang-gun and the northern mountainous areas of Gangwon-do.
A heavy snow warning is issued when snowfall is expected to accumulate 5 cm or more within 24 hours. Caution is advised for driving on snowy roads and pedestrian safety.
