Read the New Design Industry... Gyeongnam Jeongbodae Holds the 4th Creative Convergence Forum
A forum for discussions and lectures to gauge new fields and trends in the design industry will be held at Gyeongnam Information University.
Gyeongnam Information University (President Kim Dae-sik) announced on the 29th that the 4th CCF (Creative Convergence Forum) will be held on December 2nd at 12:30 PM at the Haeundae Centum Campus Convention Hall.
This CCF’s theme is "Compete with Design." Top creators leading Korean design studios such as Plus X, BRENDEN, COSMIC RAY, BRUDER, Ilsang-ui Silcheon, and CFC will take the stage to deliver special lectures and discussions on new design industries and trends.
The special lectures include ▲ Shin Myung-seop and Advisor Byeon Sa-beom of Plus X discussing the potential expansion of design through AI in the brand experience process ▲ Lee Do-woo, CEO of BRENDEN, delivering a lecture on brand experience design through various project cases.
Also, ▲ Lee Sung-man, CEO of COSMIC RAY, will talk about how to tell brand stories through video ▲ Jung Kyu-hyuk, CEO of BRUDER, will present as a navigating designer ▲ Kwon Jun-ho, Kim Kyung-chul, and Kim Eo-jin of Ilsang-ui Silcheon will discuss practice, daily life, and the studio ▲ Jeon Chae-ri, CEO of CFC, will proceed in the order of Content, form, and context.
This event is open not only to Gyeongnam Information University students but also to students interested in design and the general public, who can attend by applying on a first-come, first-served basis.
Since 2020, Gyeongnam Information University has invited global panelists to enhance students’ global mindset and serve as a medium for citizens of Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam to access information concentrated in the metropolitan area in Busan through the CCF event.
The 4th CCF also sparked great interest, with the 250 seats prepared being fully booked within three days of online registration. The organizers plan to accommodate as many citizens as possible who visit the venue on the day of the event.
Kim Dae-sik, President of Gyeongnam Information University, said, “We have invited top panelists who are difficult to gather in one place to provide a good opportunity to instill creative design sensibility and a spirit of challenge,” adding, “From next year, we plan to expand the scale of the event to allow more citizens to participate.”

This event is hosted by Gyeongnam Information University and organized by the Ministry of Education and the National Research Foundation of Korea as part of the 2023 Specialized College Innovation Support Project.
