Looking for someone to provide foreign language interpretation of Taehwagang National Garden?
Ulsan City is recruiting 20 people for the ‘2024 Taehwagang National Garden Interpreters’ to promote the prestige of Taehwagang National Garden next year.
The selection target is residents of Ulsan City as of November 20, who possess the expertise and volunteer spirit to provide high-quality garden interpretation services to visitors of Taehwagang National Garden.
Preference will be given to those who have completed Ulsan Citizen Gardener training, have experience in garden-related interpretation, or are proficient in foreign languages (English, Chinese, Japanese).
Citizens wishing to apply should visit the Ulsan City website, fill out the application form and interpretation scenario posted in the official announcement, and apply in person at the 3rd floor office of the Taehwagang National Garden Information Center from November 30 to December 4 (excluding Saturdays and Sundays).
Ulsan City will conduct document screening and an interpretation scenario demonstration evaluation interview on December 18, with final selection on December 20.
The selected garden interpreters will be responsible for working at the Taehwagang National Garden Information Center, observatory, and on-site information booths, as well as conducting on-site tours and providing commentary during rides on the electric observation car throughout 2024.

Workdays average at least 8 days per month regardless of holidays or national days, with working hours from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Volunteers will receive a daily allowance of 60,000 KRW for workdays. Currently, 20 garden interpreters are active at Taehwagang National Garden.
