600 Global Anti-Aging Experts Gather in Daegu... Asia-Pacific Conference at EXCO
Daegu City will host the 6th Asia-Pacific Anti-Aging Conference (APAAC), jointly organized by the Asia-Pacific Anti-Aging Society and the Daegu Convention Bureau, from December 1 to 3 at EXCO and local hospitals.
Held as a fully in-person event for the first time in four years, this conference is the only anti-aging specialized conference in Korea covering dermatology, plastic surgery, hair transplantation, and dentistry. Approximately 600 medical professionals and business companies from 16 countries around the world are expected to participate.

Various programs such as product exhibitions and export consultations for medical companies will also be conducted.
In particular, participating Korean doctors can earn 6 continuing education credits from the Korean Medical Association and 4 continuing education credits (including 2 mandatory ethics education credits) from the Korean Dental Association.
Moreover, this conference is gaining more attention as a business model for companies linked with medical technology training for domestic and international doctors. Forty-nine specialized healthcare companies in medical, beauty, and dental fields are participating to expand their overseas markets.
Active purchase and export contracts are expected through buyer matching consultations over two days. About 10 MOUs for export and international cooperation are also planned to be signed. Daegu Technopark will set up a Digital Healthcare Pavilion to support companies in understanding the status of overseas digital medical industries and expanding their networks.
For training participants, various side events such as industrial site visits, hospital tours, rhinoplasty simulation workshops, skincare programs, and tourism programs are also prepared.
On the first day of the event, December 1, the ‘2023 Age-Friendly Industry Policy Forum,’ hosted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and organized by the Korea Health Industry Development Institute, will be held to explore innovation plans for digital-based age-friendly services.
