Fire Agency Distributes 'Ilgu Emoticon' Free on KakaoTalk and Naver
The National Fire Agency announced on the 28th that it will distribute the fire character ‘Ilgu’ emoticons for free through KakaoTalk and Naver (OGQ Market) on the 30th.
‘Ilgu,’ a character personifying the 119 rescue dog, was created with direct public participation throughout the entire production process, from character selection to naming contests. The name ‘Ilgu’ is a combination of 119 (il-il-gu) and 119 rescue dog (il-il-gu rescue dog). The animated emoticons, created in collaboration with the emoticon artist ‘Nemo8,’ will be distributed with 16 types on KakaoTalk and 24 types on Naver OGQ Market respectively.
The KakaoTalk emoticons will be released at 2 PM on the 30th and will be distributed to new subscribers of the ‘National Fire Agency’ channel, where they can receive major news from the agency. By newly adding the ‘National Fire Agency’ channel on the KakaoTalk smartphone app, users can download all 16 emoticons for free and use them for 30 days.
The 24 Naver emoticons can be downloaded for free by anyone without a time limit through the OGQ Market and can be used on Naver blogs, cafes, and other platforms for three years.
