National Pension Service selects 4 domestic venture fund managers including Smageinbe, allocates 150 billion KRW
The National Pension Service Fund Management Headquarters announced on the 27th that it has selected four domestic venture fund managers for 2023: Smilegate Investment, Stonebridge Ventures, K2 Investment Partners, and TS Investment.
Venture funds are funds that invest in early-stage companies with high growth potential.
The Fund Management Headquarters plans to allocate up to 150 billion KRW to these entrusted managers. Each fund managed by the selected domestic alternative investment managers will operate based on an investment period of 4 years and a maturity of 8 years.
According to the National Pension Service, as of the end of August this year, alternative investment assets amount to 160.151 trillion KRW, accounting for 16.1% of the total fund assets.
